Ice sports facilities in Düsseldorf open: Benrath ice rink debuts, Brehmstraße ice stadium set for launch on September 9th
Following the autumnal chill, the ice rinks in Benrath, Germany, have reopened. The rink on Kappeler Street commenced operations on August 18th, inviting residents to glide across the ice. As of September 9th, ice skating enthusiasts will also have the opportunity at Brehm Street.

The ice rink at Kappeler Street has set its opening hours as follows:
- Monday: 3-5 pm
- Tuesday: 8-10 pm
- Wednesday: Closed
- Thursday: 5-10 pm
- Friday: 2-4 pm (disco from 5-10 pm)
- Saturday: 10 am-4 pm (disco from 5-10 pm)
- Sunday: 10 am-7 pm
For precise opening times during booking, consult the online ticket system. The entrance fee is €4 for youth and €6 for adults (discounts apply), which covers a two-hour skating session.

Ice skating season commences on September 9th at Brehm Street. Public skating times are as follows:

- Friday: 5-7 pm (8-10 pm)
- Saturday: 2-4 pm, 5-7 pm
- Sunday: 11 am-1 pm, 2-4 pm, 5-7 pm
Entrance fees are €1.30 for children and €2.80 for adults. A 12-ticket card for children and youth costs €13, while the adult card costs €28.
