Starting this autumn, Austrian television viewers can look forward to a new season of the popular show "Bares für Rares Austria" on Puls 4 and its streaming platform Joyn. The charismatic and veteran TV presenter, Arabella Kiesbauer, has been announced as the new host of the show.

In this role, Kiesbauer will accompany motivated sellers as their antiques and collectibles are first appraised by experts and then offered to dealers with the goal of achieving a good sale price. Kiesbauer has expressed her enthusiasm for the show, emphasizing her love for the unique stories that each rarity carries.

Kiesbauer succeeds the previous host, Willi Gabalier, and brings extensive television experience to the cult format. The show involves uncovering the personal stories behind valuables and rare objects submitted by participants, potentially turning forgotten items into cash.

Born in Vienna, Kiesbauer is a passionate flea market shopper and has collected old radios and coffee grinders in the past. She has also praised the original show's host, Horst Lichter, for his long-standing successful hosting of the show and hopes to emulate his style as the host of "Bares für Rares Austria".

Horst Lichter, however, is not associated with Puls 4, and the show "Bares für Rares Austria" has not been hosted by him. The exact start date for the show on Puls 4 is yet to be determined, but it is expected to begin airing in September 2025.

Kiesbauer has invited Austrians to apply with their treasures to participate in the upcoming season until August 31, 2025. For more information, viewers can visit the Puls 4 website or contact the show's producers directly.
