Hurry up with the transportation development to fulfill the set goals by 2025, urges the Prime Minister.

The Vietnamese government is pushing ahead with a series of significant infrastructure projects, aiming to complete them before the end of the year. These projects, which include expressways, airports, and seaports, are crucial for opening up new economic spaces, improving national connectivity, and reducing congestion, as emphasized by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinch.

In a recent meeting, the Prime Minister chaired the 20th session of the State steering committee for key national projects and priority transport works. He underlined that these projects are mandatory political tasks and called for immediate action to speed up site clearance and land handovers.

HCM City and Lam Dong are expected to break ground on the HCM City-Moc Bai and Tan Phu-Bao Loc projects by December 19. Meanwhile, provinces like HCM City, Dong Nai, Lang Son, and Tuyen Quang must hand over all remaining land for 2025 projects by the end of September. However, some provinces have fallen behind on land handovers and have not met the PM's directive for a 10% monthly increase in construction output.

The Ministry of Construction has been tasked with accelerating paperwork to begin building the remaining tunnels on the North-South Expressway and ensuring that more than 1,700km of coastal roads are in place by the end of the year. Nghe An, Quang Tri, and Ca Bang must finalise feasibility studies for new expressways this quarter.

Several provinces, including Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, and Dong Nai, have yet to complete site clearance for rest stops along the North-South Expressway. Intelligent transport systems and service areas are progressing too slowly, and the Prime Minister has urged for their acceleration.

These achievements will be landmark results for the Government's current term and symbolic contributions to the upcoming 14th National Party Congress, as stated by the PM. The PM has set two major milestones for the remaining four months: putting over 3,000km of expressways into operation and ensuring the basic completion of the Long Thành International Airport project.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinch has also tasked agencies with preparing a list of projects for groundbreaking or inauguration ceremonies on December 19, marking the 79th National Resistance Day and welcoming the 14th National Party Congress. Each ministry and locality is expected to contribute at least two major projects.

On August 19, 250 projects were inaugurated or launched to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day. Construction units are required to work in three shifts with four crews each day to recover lost time. Expressways, airports, and seaports are significant infrastructure works and development corridors, as per the Prime Minister.

Public investment is one of the three pillars driving economic growth, according to the Prime Minister. He emphasized that these projects will create a cleaner, greener environment, contributing to the government's goal of sustainable development. However, no specific provinces are mentioned in the available information as required to cede the remaining land rights in September for the 2025 projects to meet Premier Chính's directives.

In conclusion, Vietnam is making significant strides in its infrastructure development, with the Prime Minister leading the charge to complete key projects before the end of the year. These projects are not only crucial for economic growth and national connectivity but also symbolic contributions to the upcoming 14th National Party Congress.
