Hurricanes recall Justin Robidas as Kotkaniemi hits injured reserve

The Carolina Hurricanes have recalled forward Justin Robidas from the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. The move comes as the team places Jesperi Kotkaniemi on injured reserve, effective from 14 November. Robidas brings strong form from the minor leagues, where he has excelled this season.

Robidas previously played for the Hurricanes organization before joining Chicago. Last season, he made his NHL debut and quickly recorded his first career point with an assist. The next game, he scored his first goal.

Robidas returns to Carolina with a proven scoring touch from the AHL. His recall offers the Hurricanes an experienced option while Kotkaniemi recovers. The team will rely on his recent form to contribute in the coming games.
