Kuczora Leaves Thuringer HC at End of Season - Hungarian handball star Csenge Kuczora joins CSM Bucharest after trophy-laden season

Csenge Kuczora, a standout player for Thüringer Handball Club’s women’s team, will leave the German side at the end of the season. The Hungarian star has signed with CSM Bucharest in Romania after a successful spell in Thuringia. Her move follows two major titles with the club in just one year.

Kuczora joined Thüringer HC ahead of the 2023/24 season and quickly became a central figure in the team. During her time there, she helped secure both the European League and the Super Cup.

Her performances also earned her a place in Hungary’s national squad for the Handball World Championship. Now, after a single but impactful season, she prepares to continue her career in Romania with CSM Bucharest.

The departure marks the end of Kuczora’s short but trophy-filled period at Thüringer HC. She leaves behind a team that won two European honours during her stay. Next season, she will take her skills to one of Romania’s top handball clubs.
