Hünfeld's Art Breakfast Blends Local Flavors with Bold Contemporary Exhibits
A morning of art and breakfast amid the current special exhibitions "In-Between Worlds" and "I Don't Care About Normal" took place at the Museum of Modern Art in Hünfeld, sparking enthusiastic response and widespread acclaim.
Guests enjoyed a regional, seasonal breakfast surrounded by artworks—an event organized by the museum's foundation board.
After the lavish meal, visitors were free to stroll at leisure through the exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art.
Both special exhibitions remain on view until April 26. Marina Sailer presents highly compelling and visually striking illusionist paintings, where beings and objects collide in surreal combinations, their unique technique lending them an intense luminosity.
Meanwhile, the Bad Hersfeld Art Association's engaging exhibition—featuring photography, graphics, and collages—demonstrates that art, above all, is individual, unbound, and beyond convention. The museum's permanent collection, showcasing works from the Jürgen Blum Collection, is also on display.
The date for the next Art Breakfast has already been set: On Sunday, June 21, starting at 10 a.m., it will take place amid the upcoming special exhibition "Metamorphosis" by sculptor Klaus Christ and the IDEA Annual Exhibition "The Fascination of Paper." Registration by email.
