In the heart of D 2009, the comedy series "Krause's Cure" continues its engaging tale, with Episode 2 directed by Bernd Böhlich. This episode, lasting 90 minutes, finds our protagonist, Police Chief Horst Krause, portrayed by Horst Krause, in a predicament he never anticipated.

Krause, who is prescribed a seaside cure but cannot afford it due to cost constraints, finds himself in a local clinic instead. There, he crosses paths with a young patient named Jonas Schimmelpfennig, portrayed by Alexander Beyer, who boasts about his father and annoys Krause.

Jonas reveals that his father, Michael Schimmelpfennig, wants to buy and commercially exploit the neighboring property, including the campsite where Krause and his sisters have always spent their holidays. This news shocks Krause, causing him to leave the clinic in dismay.

Meanwhile, Krause's sister Meta, portrayed by Angelika Böttiger, who is also at the clinic, disappears for a whole night, putting Krause's cure success at risk.

At the clinic, Krause encounters a man named Rudi, portrayed by Tilo Prückner, who will have far-reaching consequences for the Krause family. Krause also meets Head Nurse Ilse, played by Irm Hermann, and Dr. Jessen, portrayed by Fritzi Haberlandt.

Interestingly, Meta Krause is portrayed by none other than Angelika Böttiger, who played the same character in the 2009 film "Krause's Cure," directed by Thomas Freundner. The film also starred Horst Krause, Carmen-Maja Antoni, and Angelika Böttiger.

While Krause's sister Elsa, portrayed by Carmen-Maja Antoni, accompanies him on a camping trip instead of the clinic, the inn they usually leave in care of Goose-Schlunzke, portrayed by Andreas Schmidt.
