The Assay and Analytical Laboratory at Prognoz's Vertikalnoye mine plays a vital role in the company's production process. Technicians there test ore samples for precious metals, ensuring accuracy at every stage. Their work directly supports geologists and prevents costly mistakes.
Ore extracted from the mine first arrives at the sample preparation unit. There, it is crushed, ground, and packaged before being sent to the lab for analysis. Technicians then perform acid decomposition on the samples and examine them using an atomic absorption spectrometer to detect silver, copper, zinc, and lead.
