Housefull 5, the latest instalment of the popular comedy franchise, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The movie, which originally hit theatres on June 6, 2025, has been a hit with audiences, praised for its funny scenes, popular cast, and entertaining plot.
The film is set on a luxurious cruise ship, where a competition among three men claiming to be the rightful heir to a rich old man's wealth unfolds. The old man celebrates his 100th birthday in the movie, but dies suddenly, leaving his wealth to his son, Jolly. However, the identity of Jolly becomes a mystery as three different men - Julius, Jalbhushan, and Jalabuddin - claim to be him.
To find out who the real Jolly is, a DNA test is arranged. But a twist in the tale comes when the doctor who was supposed to do the test is found dead, adding a new mystery to the plot.
The movie features an impressive ensemble cast, with Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh leading the pack.
