She reminisced, 'I was cosied up on my balcony, with plants surrounding me, so I could sunbathe au naturel without my neighbors catching a glimpse. But then, quite a distance away, I noticed a hot air balloon.'

Val was high maintenance, always expecting people to do things for her. But we were often not on speaking terms.
