Stepping into the "Bares für Rares" studio, Horst Lichter quickly learns his lesson as Sven Deutschmanek scolds him for walking through the rainbow. The source of this colorful spectacle? A unique light installation crafted by sisters Jennifer and Ann-Kristin Flörkemeier from East Westphalia. Sven, an expert with a keen eye for design, estimates its value between €1,400 and €1,600.

Meanwhile, in the dealers' room, Julian Schmitz-Avila demonstrates the lamp's abilities, casting a magical rainbow on the wall. All dealers are captivated by the visual delight. The auction commences with a bidding war, eventually ending with the sisters receiving €1,200 from renowned dealer David Suppes.

As for the lamp's origins, it stems from the late 1970s, the brainchild of Italian designer Andrea Bellosi. The sisters, who entered the room to the sounds of the Rolling Stones' "She's a Rainbow," had initially set it at €1,500.

Sven, the expert in this episode, describes the lamp as more of a light installation than a standard item. He asserted that it is an art object, with its creative Italian designer adding to its appeal.

Inside the show, Horst Lichter conveys his awe at Sven's ability to conjure up a rainbow within the studio. The lamp, with its vibrant colors and Andrea Bellosi's design, became the centerpiece of attention for both experts and dealers.

Although this 70s-inspired rainbow lamp did not fetch its maximum price from the dealers, it still garnered a substantial sum for its sellers. They plan to use the money for a vacation with their mother, a well-deserved reward for the lamp's display at the "Bares für Rares" show.
