The festival, renowned for its focus on horror and fantasy films, will feature a programme of 16 films, including national premieres, retrospectives, and special events.
Radu Jude's Dracula will be the headliner of this year's festival. Six of the films are national premieres, including Thibault Emin's Else, highly appreciated at the recent Sitges Festival, and Daniel Oriahi's Weekend, a Nigerian horror selected at the Tribeca festival.
A special cine-concert version of the silent Japanese film A Page of Madness (1926) will be screened at the Full Moon festival. The soundtrack for A Page of Madness will be performed live by the band CelloFun, and the narration will be done by Irina-Margareta Nistor.
