Title: Let's Gather 'Round at Old Texas Town! Join the Rodeo, ' fore it May Be the Last Time!

By Fred Johnson

A hootenanny, y'all! Grab yer boots and spurs, and head to Old Texas Town in Haselhorst on Saturday, 7pm sharp. Time's a-wastin', and we might be seein' the last rodeo in this here spot.

B.Z. was there in high noon, jawin' with Mayor Jack and the 45 cowpokes. The historic Western town we're rootin' for is under threat of closure—the property owner's kicked us off the ranch, giving us three months to pack up and ride out.

"Ain't all bad news," Jack grins, pointin' to the beautiful saloon. "We built this here place ourselves, one plank at a time. Can't just tear it down." Diesel, the town's only squaw, did her part too. She invested more than a thousand euros in that stitchin' fabulous costume. "It's a part of our lives, and we're ridin' free and easy here," she says.

The Boss Hoss boys, our honorary cowpokes, are hittin' the town with their fans. They're makin' TikTok videos and howlin' with their fans before they saddle up and ride off into the digital sunset. This Saturday (July 7), it's the usual open day. Y'all are welcome to immerse yourself in that Wild West spirit. Ten euros admission for grown-folks, and 1.50 euros for the little buckaroos. It's a fun-raisin', so come on down!

Old Texas Town, sittin' Pretty since 1950, lost a leg before. Now, the Gallows hangs over our heads. The Berlin CDU is pleadin' for a political solution. Mayor Jack's crossing his fingers for his "colleague," the governing mayor Kai Wegner. Maybe there's still a happy ending for the great adventure that’s Old Texas Town.
