Bernd, not one to brag, stammered, "This is, like, a massive honor," and reassured the crowd that jam-packed the market square, "We'll forever remain the two village musicians from Villingen." Their 55-year-long musical journey has earned them over 100 gold and platinum records, and their albums have stormed the top of the German album charts 16 times.
