Hong Kong’s Tech Innovators Shine at China Hi-Tech Fair 2025 with AI and Robotics Breakthroughs
The China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) 2025 showcased cutting-edge innovations from Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. The Hong Kong Pavilion, led by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), exhibited groundbreaking technologies in AI, robotics, and biotech, among others.
Ori-sys Technology Limited stole the show with its world-first miniature visual-tactile sensor for robotics, earning a Bronze Award at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurship Competition. Meanwhile, MEINONG ROBOT CO., LIMITED demonstrated its agricultural robotics for fruit and vegetable harvesting, improving efficiency and reducing labour costs, and has won awards at innovation competitions.
Haptron Scientific (Shenzhen) Limited presented its optical force-sensing solutions, catering to multiple industries. Rafael Biotechnology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd showcased its quantum plasmonic lab-on-chip technology for label-free biosensing within 15 minutes. Both companies highlighted the end-to-end innovation on display at the Hong Kong Pavilion.
The HKSTP led 13 park companies to CHTF 2025, with live demos and business matching for global buyers. The 'Bringing In, Going Global' strategy, advanced by HKSTP's Shenzhen Branch, helped tech companies scale in the GBA and globally. The head of new businesses at HKSTP presented the achievements of these innovative companies at the fair.
