New Honda Motorcycles Now Available for Booking: CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has expanded its lineup with the launch of two new motorcycles, the CB125 Hornet and the Shine 125 DX. These latest additions offer a blend of style, performance, and practicality for city commuters.

CB125 Hornet: Street-Style Performance for City Riding

The CB125 Hornet is designed with a focus on everyday performance and a street-style look. Powered by a 123.94cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, OBD2-compliant engine, the CB125 Hornet delivers 8.2 kW at 7,500 RPM and 11.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 RPM.

Equipped with a 5-speed gearbox, the CB125 Hornet features a full LED lighting setup, a 4.2-inch TFT display, Bluetooth-enabled Honda RoadSync, a USB Type-C charger, side-stand engine cut-off, and front disc brake with single-channel ABS. Honda claims the CB125 Hornet accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.4 seconds.

Shine 100 DX: Practical and Budget-Friendly Commuter

The Shine 100 DX is an updated addition to the Shine range, catering to buyers looking for a practical and budget-friendly motorcycle. The Shine 100 DX is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and is powered by a 98.98cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with Honda's eSP technology. It produces 5.43 kW at 7,500 RPM and 8.04 Nm of torque at 5,000 RPM.

The Shine 100 DX comes equipped with telescopic front forks, adjustable rear shocks, drum brakes supported by Honda's Combined Braking System (CBS), and high ground clearance. The motorcycle also offers a digital LCD instrument cluster and will be available in four colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Geny Grey Metallic.

Bookings Open for CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX

Bookings for both the CB125 Hornet and the Shine 100 DX are now open. These new motorcycles join Honda's diverse range of offerings, which includes the Honda CB300F, Honda CB500F, Honda PCX160, Honda NT1100, and Honda X-ADV, among others. While specific details about the launches of these upcoming motorcycles were not provided, they are expected to cater to various segments, from lightweight naked bikes to sport-touring models.
