Home Twerking Initiative Strives for UFC-like Status in Exotic Dancing, Accelerated by Cryptocurrency Support

In an unprecedented move, Twerk From Home (TFH) is set to host a weekly twerk-off ballerina competition that will culminate in a grand final on October 4, offering a $10,000 prize. The competition, which is open to dancers from around the world, aims to address issues of legitimacy and professionalism in the exotic dancing industry, much like how the UFC did for mixed martial arts.

The idea for TFH was born from the founder's experiences in Las Vegas with exotic dancers. Recognising the immense stigmatization these dancers face in society, and the challenges they encounter with bank accounts, TFH is offering dancers the option to be paid in crypto. This decision stems from the high levels of coin debanking that plague the industry.

Viewers can get involved by voting for their favourite dancer through the purchase of "gifts" for them. Each gift purchased will go directly to the dancer, making this a unique audience-decided competition, potentially giving a new meaning to the phrase "human cockfighting."

The competition will be livestreamed, with events leading up to the grand final. The prelims are closing out with a battle between JNLDOOM and Emilia Uusitalo. Bet105, a sportsbook for crypto bros, is even offering gambling opportunities on who will win the competition.

TFH's founder, Mahavuthivanij, hopes to propel TFH to a level the sport has yet to see by hosting regular events. After this first tournament, Mahavuthivanij hopes that TFH can expand beyond twerking into other competition niches.

The competition is not limited to a single style. The International Twerk Champions, a series of local competitions leading to an international battle, includes multiple categories of style. The dancer with the most gifts will win the battle, much like how the UFC added weight classes, banned certain techniques, and instituted judges to gain legitimacy.

While the date of the first weekend workshop event by Twerk From Home remains undisclosed, one thing is certain: the world of exotic dancing is about to get a lot more professional and a lot more exciting.
