Home security footage reveals sighting of suspect in the four fatal shootings in Tennessee
In a significant development, Austin Robert Drummond, a 28-year-old man, has been captured after a weeklong manhunt following a series of tragic homicides in Tennessee. Drummond is suspected of killing four people on July 29, 2025, in Lake County, Tennessee.
The victims of this heinous crime were 38-year-old Cortney Rose, her children, 20-year-old Adrianna Williams and 15-year-old Braydon Williams, and Adrianna Williams' boyfriend, 21-year-old James "Michael" Wilson. Their bodies were discovered along a road in Lake County, in northwest Tennessee.
Drummond is wanted on multiple charges, including four counts of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated kidnapping, four counts of felon in possession of a firearm, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
The killings appear to be targeted, as investigators believe Drummond knew the victims. The motive for the homicides remains under investigation.
Drummond was spotted in Jackson, Tennessee, on the night of July 30. He was considered armed and dangerous during the search. Several associates of Drummond were arrested and charged as accessories after the fact.
Additional context reveals Drummond had recently been released from prison in September 2024, where he served nearly 11 years. He had ongoing legal issues, including drug charges and an attempted murder charge from incidents inside prison. At the time of the killings, he was out on bond for these charges.

Two additional individuals, Dearrah Sanders and Brandon Powell, have been arrested in connection with the killings. Tanaka Brown, charged with being an accessory to the killings after the fact and tampering with evidence, was arraigned on Monday.
