Hollywood's Universal Studios unveils its chilling lineup for Halloween Horror Nights in 2025, featuring spectacles like the Poltergeist live show, a stunt extravaganza inspired by The Purge, and the Blumhouse Terror Tram.
Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights 2025: A Terrifying Experience Awaits
Get ready for a chilling adventure as Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights 2025 returns, running from September 4 to November 2. This year, the event promises an unforgettable experience with eight haunted houses, multiple scare zones, and the popular Terror Tram experience.
The haunted house lineup includes themes inspired by the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout, Five Nights at Freddy's, Terrifier, WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks, the Jason Universe, and the classic franchise Friday the 13th. Additionally, a new haunted house based on the 1982 film Poltergeist will be featured.
Scare zones this year include Murder of Crowz, featuring aggressive feathered creatures; Noche de Brujas, with Latin American witches; Chainsaw Clowns, a troupe of clowns wielding chainsaws; and Carnival of Carnage, a sinister sideshow of murderous clowns.
The Terror Tram attraction, titled "Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse," will showcase villains from Blumhouse films like M3GAN, The Grabber from Black Phone 2, The Purge killers, Freaky’s Blissfield Butcher, and Happy Death Day’s Babyface Killer.
Guests can also expect a new collection of Halloween Horror Nights merchandise featuring apparel, accessories, and collectibles tied to this year’s attractions and franchises.
Attendees should be aware that tapping out (asking for help) is acceptable if they feel overwhelmed or scared. Splitting up during the event is not advisable, as it increases the risk of getting lost or separated. Knowing an exit strategy is crucial in case of emergency or if someone needs to leave the event.
Staying hydrated is important during Halloween Horror Nights, but bathroom lines can be long and zombies don't wait. Throat lozenges are recommended after a night of nonstop screaming.
Universal staff are trained to spot actual terror from theatrical shrieking. It's also advised to avoid wearing flip-flops, taunting monsters, and stopping for selfies in the fog. A survival guide is provided for attendees.
Tickets for the event are available in various forms, including General Admission, Universal Express, After 2 P.M. Day/Night passes, Early Access Tickets, R.I.P. Tour packages, Frequent Fear and Ultimate Fear passes.
Other attractions include Prime Video's Fallout, Blumhouse's Five Nights at Freddy's, Cult splatter hit Terrifier, WWE's demonic group in The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks, Jason Universe featuring slasher icon Jason Voorhees, Original concept Scarecrow: Music by Slash, The aforementioned Monstruos 3, and various rides such as SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, "Jurassic World-The Ride," "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter," "Transformers: The Ride-3D," "Revenge of the Mummy-The Ride," and "The Simpsons Ride."
The infamous "Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse" returns, featuring characters from various Blumhouse horror films. "The Purge: Dangerous Waters," a fire-fueled thrill show, returns to ignite the WaterWorld venue.
Avoid following the little girl who whispers, "They're here..." as a bonus tip. The Crowz, a recurring element in Halloween Horror Nights, should be watched out for as they don't like eye contact.
With so much terror and excitement awaiting, make sure to secure your tickets early as they tend to sell out quickly. Early access starts at 5:30 p.m., with general event hours from 7 p.m. on select nights.
