In early 2025, Zoe Kravitz and her mother Lisa Bonet found themselves temporarily residing at Taylor Swift's historic Beverly Hills mansion during the Los Angeles wildfires. While there, tragedy struck when Lisa Bonet's pet snake, Orpheus, went missing.

The snake slipped through a small hole in the bathroom, leading to a frantic search. Zoe Kravitz humorously admitted on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" that they essentially "destroyed" parts of the bathroom trying to find the snake, causing damage to Taylor Swift’s vintage 1930s home[1][2].

The incident caused significant damage to Taylor Swift's bathroom, with the house manager using a crowbar to tear apart a banquette next to the hole to retrieve the snake. Despite the damage, Zoe Kravitz offered to pay for the repairs.

Taylor Swift, a close friend of Zoe Kravitz, was already aware of the situation when Zoe called to admit to it. In fact, the two had recently collaborated on Taylor Swift's 2022 Midnights album, with Zoe cowriting the tracks Karma and Lavender Haze, and offering background vocals to the latter[3].

Meanwhile, Zoe Kravitz is preparing for the release of her latest project, "Caught Stealing", set to be released on August 29. The premise of the film, according to IMDb, is 'Burned-out ex-baseball player Hank Thompson unexpectedly finds himself embroiled in a dangerous struggle for survival amidst the criminal underbelly of 1990s New York City, forced to navigate a treacherous underworld he never imagined'[4].

The Life Of A Showgirl, Taylor Swift's upcoming 12th studio album, was announced this week, sending fans into a frenzy[5]. The Life Of A Showgirl will air in full during a snippet of Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast on Monday, with the full episode set to air later this week on Wednesday, August 13[6].
