Hollabrunn district hit by 11 emergencies in just 48 hours

The Hollabrunn district experienced a surge in emergencies over two days, with 11 incidents reported. The series of events commenced on December 9, involving crashes, rescues, and hazardous spills. Firefighters and recovery teams responded to each call across multiple villages.

On December 9, the initial incident transpired in Hohenwarth when a traffic accident resulted in injuries. Subsequently, in Immendorf, a tractor toppled into a ditch, trapping the driver. Fire crews from Wullersdorf arrived to extricate the vehicle and aid the injured. In close proximity, in Rafing, a tractor collided with a truck, causing another injury and necessitating road clearance.

Throughout the 48-hour period, emergency services addressed crashes, rescues, and environmental hazards across the district. The incidents ranged from minor property access challenges to severe road collisions and protracted recovery operations. Authorities have yet to disclose further details regarding injuries or ongoing investigations.
