Holiday Horror Unfolding
In a Unexpected Turn of Events: Pietro Lombardi's Fiancée and Family Sidestep the High Seas for Rome
Pietro Lombardi's partner, Laura Maria Rypa, and her boys have swapped the open sea for the eternal city of Rome, as their planned European cruise took an early exit. Initially, Rypa, alongside her sons, were buoyed for a voyage across the continent, but unfortunately, their nautical escapade didn't quite pan out as expected.
Exploring Alternative Horizons:
Rypa shared the news of their impromptu landfall on Instagram, voicing her dismay: "As I previously hinted, we had to abandon ship." She expounded, "An array of mishaps made it unfeasible to continue sailing." In two concise posts on her Instagram Story, Rypa revealed a collaboration-driven excursion, but took pains to distance herself from a subpar experience: "I can't endorse something that falls short." She didn't mince her words: "From organization to the ship, regrettably, very little went swimmingly."
Her remarks hinted at a litany of issues, from transfers and check-ins to cabin comfort, and she suggested that she and her family weren't alone in their disappointments, as other passengers also bid adieu prematurely to their nautical retreat. However, she remained open to salvaging the joys of cruising in the future, musing, "Perhaps we simply encountered a string of bad luck."
A New Italian Chapter:
Before vacating the vessel, the family enjoyed a breathtaking sunset at sea, andcarried on their Italian adventure independently thereafter. Rypa posted a Vatican selfie and a Colosseum snapshot, accompanied by a caption expressing her renewed resolve: "Altering our approach, we're treading a fresh path now."
The power couple, who exchanged rings in 2022, welcomed their first son, Leano, in January 2023, and their second, Amelio, the following August. Lombardi already shares a son, Alessio (9), with his previous spouse, singer Sarah Engels (32).
Cruise Misadventures:While Rypa's cruise experience didn't quite stride atop captured headlines, searches did unearth a similar predicament on Cunard's Queen Anne cruise ship[1], but there's no evidence linking the two incidents or implying the involvement of Laura Maria Rypa and her family.
