Fresh take on Oscar Højlund's Setback

New Eintracht Frankfurt signing, Oscar Højlund, encounters a tricky situation upon his arrival.

The Danish youngster, highly-touted from FC Copenhagen, suffered an injury during team training. His diagnosis? A fractured metatarsal. Eintracht Frankfurt officially announced this unfortunate turn of events. Consequently, he will miss the upcoming game against Hoffenheim on Saturday. The duration of his recovery remains uncertain.

Originally scheduled to attend a media event on Wednesday, Højlund's fellow teammate Arthur Theate stepped in to fill his spot. Despite being sidelined, Højlund made brief appearances in Frankfurt's triumph in the DFB-Pokal in Braunschweig and their first Bundesliga match against Dortmund (0:2).

Højlund's elder brother Rasmus transferred to Manchester United last summer for around 70 million euros, while his identical twin Emil recently joined Schalke 04.

Initially, Frankfurt's newcomer was excited to contribute to the team in the football league. Regrettably, his debut in the league will need to wait as he focuses on recovering from his metatarsal fracture.
