Uli Hoeneß's 30-meter Tree Sparkles Again!
Good news for fans of Uli Hoeneß! The honorary president of FC Bayern and well-known figure in Bad Wiessee, famously known for his towering Christmas tree, has brought back the tradition this year.
The festive sight to behold
Hoeneß's magnificent 30-meter spruce is located in his garden and has been a landmark in Bavaria for years. Adorned with over 950 lights, this impressive Christmas tree can be seen from afar, even from the neighboring shore in Tegernsee.
The two-in-one tree
What might seem like a single tree from a distance, is actually two closely entwined spruces that can only be distinguished up close.
The energy crisis challenge
Due to the energy crisis last year, Hoeneß made the decision not to light up his "dream tree". This winter, though, the Christmas tradition is back, making the nighttime view in the Tegernsee district even more picturesque.
Illuminating joy
Once the lights of Lake Tegernsee come on, the Hoeneß tree becomes the highlight of the evening, making countless people's winter evening that much more delightful.
The effort it takes
Overcoming the two-day installation challenge, the specialist lighting company made it all worthwhile for Hoeneß and the community.
A beacon of joy
Hoeneß, being a generous figure, shared his pride in the joy it brings to so many, receiving numerous appreciative letters in return.
Behind the Headlines
Despite his involvement in the Bundesliga and FC Bayern München, Hoeneß enjoys participating in various winter events and charity activities around the Tegernsee district during the off-season. This iconic, much-loved Christmas tree remains a significant symbol of joy and unity during the festive season.
