Chillin' With the Hodas Again?

It's been four months since Hoda Kotb bid adieu to the Today show, but she's keeping the door open for a potential return, maybe even with her long-time co-host, Jenna Bush Hager.

During a chat with US Weekly at her new wellness project, Joy 101, Kotb radiated optimism. "I'm a never-say-never person," she shared, hinting at a possible collaboration down the line.

Reminiscing about their bond, Kotb and Bush Hager used to express, "secretly, 'One day. I'll see you in a couple years.' I feel like there's something there," Kotb added.

The duo, who co-hosted Today With Hoda & Jenna for over five years, have forged a close on- and off-air friendship. And it seemed the chemistry was still there when Kotb visited the set at NBC's 30 Rockefeller Center earlier this week, her first visit since departing in January to focus on her daughters.

The reunion was indeed emotional, with Kotb remarking, "It felt like coming home in the best way. I still can't believe what it felt like. I think this was the best day ever." Bush Hager seemed equally touched, fighting back tears with, "I was expecting to cry and I was a little bit like, 'Don't cry, don't cry.' But then, what can I do? It's the energy."

With Bush Hager now cohosting Today With Jenna & Friends and Kotb exploring her new venture, it's uncertain what the future holds. Yet, Kotb's return as a guest co-host recently hints at a strong bond that might lead to more collaborations in the future.

While there's no official word from NBC, Savannah Guthrie gave a telling comment to US Weekly, emphasizing Kotb's permanent place in the Today family. "Her being there was like she never left. This is home for her. It always will be," Guthrie said. So, it seems the world of morning television isn't quite ready to say goodbye to the Hoda-Jenna dynamic just yet!

Engaging in a lively conversation with a fan, Hoda Kotb mentioned, "Who knows? Jenna Bush Hager and I might team up again for an entertaining segment in the future."

In a recent interview, Jenna Bush Hager expressed her excitement, saying, "I would love to collaborate with Hoda again on some celebrity interviews or fun segments."
