Hockey player Tkachev of the Omsk "Avangard" met with a coach from another team in the sauna.
Vladimir Tkachev and Mark Verba recently hung out at a local sauna with Victor Alexandrov, the current head coach of Metallurg Novokuznetsk.
The attacking duo from Omsk's Avangard, Tkachev, and now former Avangard player Verba, visited one of the city's swanky spas. Verba shared a picture from the establishment in his Telegram channel.
"Lush spa sessions with the beasts," - the caption reads.
From the photo, it seems that the crew consisted of Verba, Tkachev, and Alexandrov, the ex-Avangard player who is now the head coach of Metallurg Novokuznetsk.
It's worth noting that Mark Verba played for Avangard from the 2023/24 season and only recently, Omsk's team expressed gratitude to Verba and seven other players, suggesting they would be leaving the team.
As for Tkachev, Avangard extended his contract through the end of the 2029/2030 season back in December 2025. However, speculation has popped up that the player might depart from Avangard. Rumors suggest a potential transfer to Yekaterinburg's Avtomobilist alongside teammate Rid Bushe, but there's no official confirmation of the rumors yet[1][2].
