Hockey fan robbed of signed jersey after brutal car park attack
A 23-year-old man was attacked and robbed in a car park after an ice hockey match at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena. Three assailants targeted him, stealing a signed jersey with deep personal meaning. Police are now searching for the suspects and the missing item.
The assault took place shortly after the game ended. The victim was struck in the face before the men snatched his white Deggendorfer SC jersey, signed by player number 9, Gibbons. The attackers then escaped in a waiting car.
Witnesses described the main suspect as a tall man, around 6'3", aged 25 to 30. He had short blonde hair and wore a dark Füchse Duisburg sweatshirt under a black jacket. A second man was seen in a red Füchse Duisburg jersey, while the third wore a black jacket with his face covered by a cap or hood. Authorities have urged anyone with details about the suspects or the jersey's location to come forward. The victim has emphasised the item's sentimental value and hopes for its recovery.
No further updates on the investigation have been released. Police continue to gather information from the public. The stolen jersey remains missing, and the suspects are still at large.
