Hit-and-run Audi crash in Bremen leaves homes powerless and passenger injured
A hit-and-run crash in Bremen-Burglesum left several homes without power on Sunday evening. Police are now searching for the driver of a black Audi who fled the scene after losing control in icy conditions. The incident also injured a passenger in another vehicle and damaged critical electrical infrastructure.
The crash happened at 21:10 on 23 November in the Burgdamm area of Bremen-Burglesum. An unidentified driver in a black Audi skidded on the icy Stockholmer Straße and collided with another vehicle. Instead of stopping, the Audi driver left the scene immediately.
The hit-and-run remains under active investigation as police work to identify the Audi driver. Repairs to the damaged power infrastructure have not yet been confirmed. Residents affected by the outage await updates on when full electricity will be restored.
