Historic motorsport event, Goodwood Revival, prepares for a glitzy show, filled with celebrity presence and antique automobiles.
Goodwood Revival 2025: A Star-Studded Historic Motorsport Event
Get ready for an unforgettable weekend as the Goodwood Revival returns from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th of September. This renowned historic motorsport event is more than just racing; it's an immersive celebration of vintage lifestyle, championing craftsmanship and the stories within second-hand treasures.
The Goodwood Revival is the only sporting event of its kind to be staged entirely in a period theme, offering a unique and captivating experience for all attendees. This year's event features a thirteen-race list, with an impressive lineup of drivers and riders set to take part.
The Goodwood Revival is hosting an impressive roster of motor racing legends. The TT contingent includes Conor Cummins, James Hillier, John McGuiness, Josh Brookes, Lee Johnston, and Steve Plater. British Touring Car Champions Gordon Shedden, Jake Hill, Matt Neal, and Tom Ingram will also race, contributing a combined total of 197 BTCC race wins among them.
Ten veterans of the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race will participate, with a combined 33 victories. Notable Le Mans veterans include Tom Kristensen (nine-time winner), Derek Bell (five-time winner), Emanuele Pirro (five-time winner), André Lotterer (three-time winner and two-time World Endurance Champion), Darren Turner, Dindo Capello, Marcel Fassler, Romain Dumas, David Brabham, and Neel Jani (all Le Mans winners).
World Touring Car Champions Andy Priaulx and Rob Huff will also participate. The Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy race will welcome winners and champions from the World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK) and the Isle of Man TT, including WorldSBK Champion Carlos Checa, Eugene Laverty, Troy Bayliss, and a host of Isle of Man TT riders with a collective 70 podiums at the legendary road race.
Jenson Button, 2009 Formula 1 World Champion, will compete in the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) TT Celebration. Scott Dixon, a six-time IndyCar Champion, and Dario Franchitti, a four-time IndyCar Champion, will represent American (and New Zealand) motorsport.
Jimmie Johnson, a seven-time NASCAR Champion, will also participate. The current female Isle of Man TT record holder and 2010 Supersport Cup winner, Jenny Tinmouth, will take part in the Goodwood Revival. Maria Costello MBE, former Isle of Man TT record holder and trailblazer, will also be present.
The Goodwood Revival is widely considered the world's greatest historic motor race meeting and historic motorsport event.
