Historic figure Ludovico Peregrini, famously known as Mr. No from the show "Risked," has passed away.
Ludovico Peregrini, affectionately known as "Mr. No" for his strict adherence to the rules of the beloved quiz show "Rischiatutto", has passed away at the age of 82. The news was announced by his wife Nicou and daughters Sofia and Anna.
Born in Como on June 27, 1943, Peregrini's television career spanned over five decades. He began his journey in the industry with Settevoci, hosted by Pippo Baudo, marking his first foray into the world of television.
In 1970, Peregrini started collaborating with Mike Bongiorno on "Rischiatutto", a partnership that would last over forty years. Throughout his career, he worked on various programs such as Scommettiamo?, Flash, La ruota della fortuna, Bravo bravissimo, and Chi vuol essere milionario?.
Peregrini was also known for his inflexibility in enforcing the rules of "Rischiatutto", which earned him the nickname "Mr. No". However, this strictness was balanced by his love for entertaining, which brought joy to millions of viewers.
Apart from his work in television, Peregrini composed songs for artists like Mino Reitano, Toto Cutugno, and Mina. In 1997, he co-wrote the Festival di Sanremo with Mike Bongiorno.
Peregrini was the voice of the quiz shows Mike Bongiorno Bis and Telemike for many years. His greatest joy, besides his family, was being able to entertain so many people with his programs.
In 2016, Peregrini returned to television with Fabio Fazio for the remake of "Rischiatutto". Despite the lack of public or notable information about his professional career or achievements in quiz shows, television programs, collaborations, or musical compositions, Peregrini will be remembered as a man full of curiosity, lightheartedness, and availability until his last days.
The family asks for privacy during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Ludovico Peregrini.
In the span of his five-decade television career, Ludovico Peregrini, the inflexible enforcer of rules on "Rischiatutto", also enjoyed a passion for other forms of entertainment, being a composer of songs for artists like Mino Reitano, Toto Cutugno, and Mina, and co-writing the Festival di Sanremo in 1997. The average viewer, though not always privy to his professional achievements, will remember Ludovico Peregrini as a man of curiosity, lightheartedness, and availability, with a love for movies-and-tv and entertainment, just as much as for his quiz shows.
