Historic Event in Kashmir: Royal Springs Golf Club Hosts Inaugural Pitch & Putt Golf Tournament

The picturesque valley of Kashmir played host to the first-ever Pitch & Putt golf tournament in the region, marking the beginning of the India Tour of PAR 3 MASTERS. Organised by Can and Able Entertainment, the event was held at the Royal Springs Golf Club under the leadership of Ghalib M. Shah, who ensured world-class playing conditions.

The tournament drew 64 participants across categories, including amateurs, seasoned golfers, and lady players. In the Men's Category, Ghalib M. Shah emerged as the champion, with Dr. Altaf Ramzan finishing runner-up. In the Female Category, Reem Khanday claimed the title, and Rubina Farooq secured the runner-up spot.

The Srinagar edition of the PAR 3 MASTERS showcased world-class infrastructure and scenic beauty, setting the stage for more Pitch & Putt events across the country. A specially designed Par 3 course layout provided a unique challenge for the participants.

The event highlighted Kashmir's potential as a golf tourism destination. Dr. Farooq Abdullah, emphasising the importance of the event, participated in it. Mushtaq Burza, Chairman of Ahad Group of Hotels, expressed that such events promote Kashmir as a peaceful and attractive tourist destination.

The PAR 3 MASTERS, under the guidance of Munish Arora, Founder of Can and Able and President of the Indian Pitch & Putt Association (IPPA), has established its presence in North India. The event was approved and recognised by FIPPA, and specially crafted Pitch & Putt courses are in the pipeline.

Munish Arora, in a statement, emphasised the event's focus on accessibility, inclusivity, and skill-building. Rajan Sehgal, President of the Indian Golf Tourism Association, echoed these sentiments, praising the PAR 3 MASTERS for its innovative approach to golfing experiences.

The PAR 3 MASTERS has set the stage for more innovative golfing experiences. Qazi Fasi won the "Accuracy Drive - Closest to the Pin" contest, adding an exciting element to the tournament. IGP was the Gifting Partner, and Royal Ranthambore was the Celebrations Partner for the event.

The PAR 3 MASTERS has set the foundation for more Pitch & Putt events across the country. With its successful debut in Kashmir, the tournament has paved the way for promoting golf tourism in the region and providing a platform for golf enthusiasts to showcase their skills.
