Hildesheim Literary Competition Honours Talented Authors in 2024
The 2024 Hildesheim literary competition honoured several talented authors recently. The event recognised both established and emerging writers, with prizes ranging from 750 to 2,000 euros.
The Nomination Prizes, each worth 750 euros, went to Arnd Kemper and Christa Issinger, Eva Christine Just, and Cornelia Koepsell. Koepsell, known for her previous literary awards, was among the recipients. Mitja Nikolaus also received a prize, the Public Prize worth 1,250 euros, along with Stefanie Bucifal, who won the Public Prize for Poetry. The Jury Prizes for Prose, each worth 2,000 euros, were awarded to Mitja Nikolaus and Michael Stein. In the poetry category, Eline Menke received the Jury Prize, joining Bucifal who won the main poetry prize.
