A27 Highway momentarily halted for Environmental Stand against Motorway Traffic
In a passionate display of environmental activism, a section of the A27 highway between Bremer Kreuz and Achim Nord was temporarily closed down. This was initiated following an organized protest, as reported by a police spokesperson. At midday, agitators descended from a bridge crossing over the A27, displaying several banners as per their statement. Six individuals participated in this demonstration, according to the police spokesperson.
The town of Achim was legally obligated to halt traffic on the highway, due to a court ruling from the Stade Administrative Court. A ruling is anticipated by the Achim Local Court, with the protesters aiming to demonstrate the need and justification for their actions on the subsequent court date.
