Seventeen, the popular K-pop boy band, has been making waves in the music industry recently. The group, managed by Pledis Entertainment, has achieved several milestones that have cemented their position as a force to be reckoned with.

Last week, Seventeen launched their international tour, "New_", in Incheon. The tour, which will head to Hong Kong for performances on Sept. 27 and 28, has been a resounding success so far. During the tour, nine members of Seventeen are on stage, while four are in the audience, ensuring a dynamic and engaging performance each night.

The tour's success is not the only accomplishment for Seventeen. Their reissued album, "Sector 17", has sold over 1 million copies in its first week. This is a first for a K-pop re-release to achieve such sales figures, demonstrating the band's enduring popularity.

One of the standout tracks from "Sector 17" is "World", which debuted on Billboard 200 at No. 4, marking a career-high for Seventeen. The music video for "World" reached 100 million views on YouTube on Thursday, making it one of the nine music videos by Seventeen to surpass this milestone.

The success of "World" extends beyond YouTube. The single associated with the track topped iTunes' Top Songs chart in 28 regions, further solidifying Seventeen's global appeal.

Meanwhile, BTS, another powerhouse in the K-pop industry, continues to break records. The band has nine music videos that have each been viewed more than 100 million times on YouTube. This is an impressive feat that showcases BTS's immense global fanbase.

In other news, BTS's "New_", tour will also be heading to Hong Kong for performances on Oct. 6 and 7. Junghan and Wonwoo had already joined the tour, while Woozi and Hoshi recently joined earlier this week, ensuring a full lineup for the upcoming shows.

With Seventeen's successful tour and album sales, and BTS's continued YouTube success, it's clear that the K-pop industry is thriving. Both bands are setting new standards and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of music.
