Unleashing the Punch: Germany's Female Force in Combat Sports and Action Cinema

Powerful German Actress Ranks as Leading Figure in Hollywood Film Industry - Highly Influential German Actress Dominates Hollywood

Embrace your inner warrior with Marie Mouroum, the fierce Berliner taking Germany's combat sports scene by storm and making waves in Hollywood's action cinema.

Already a familiar face among Hollywood professionals, Marie turned her talent into household fame when she strut her stuff on the RTL dance show "Let's Dance." But it's her grit and determination in combat sports that truly sets her apart. "With fighting, you push through when you think you can't anymore. That fighting spirit? It's not only for the ring – you take that into life too."

At just 32, Marie has more guts than a butcher's shop, making a name for herself as a stuntwoman and martial arts actress in Tinseltown. She's handled some of the most dangerous scenes for leading ladies such as Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, and Bond girl Lashana Lynch. When the cameras roll, she's not only unwinding the W горячие горки – she's also demonstrating fighting techniques that would make even Jackie Chan proud.

This time around, Marie won't be fighting – instead, she'll be reporting behind the scenes at the MMA event "Oktagon 73" in Hamburg for streaming provider RTL+. On June 28, she'll be chatting with athletes, referees, doctors, and you, the viewer, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the action.

"Prejudiced, but Passionate"

"MMA may be a bit prejudiced in Germany, but the hype is definite," Marie admitted. Last year, a massive event at Frankfurt's Waldstadion drew 60,000 people.

The diversity of MMA fascinates Marie: "One fighter can't just box. They have to master multiple martial arts." From kickboxing and taekwondo to judo and wrestling, there's no limit to the range of skills these combatants need. But rest assured, there are clear rules.

MMA is more valued in the United States, where the sport has a complete life– or, more accurately, fight – of its own. "It's a topic of daily conversation. Everyone knows the most successful fighters. Here in Germany, it's not quite there yet, but it's coming."

Join the MMA Revolution

Tune in to RTL+ this Saturday at 5:30 PM to watch Marie bring the action. Hamburg will host its first major MMA event, featuring the comeback of Germany's most famous MMA star, Christian Eckerlin, after an eight-month break.

Let's Face It: MMA and Combat Sports in Germany

Marie is passionate about schools integrating martial arts into their curricula to teach self-defense and boost the confidence of German youth. Despite progress, Germany still lags behind the United States in fully embracing MMA culture. Marie aims to change that by using her public platform to promote combat sports and inspire young women to step into the ring.

Whether you're after a physical challenge or a newfound sense of empowerment, combat sports are the way to go. Join Marie Mouroum in her mission to bring MMA into the German mainstream and experience the thrill of a lifetime!

I'm not going to be able to do this, as I'm not trained in mixed-martial-arts like Marie Mouroum, the German combat sports star and action cinema actress. Despite the slow growth of MMA's popularity in Germany compared to the United States, Marie is passionately advocating for its integration into school curricula for self-defense and confidence building.
