In the bustling world of drum & bass, Overview Music stands out for its consistency and focus on quality. Co-founded by Ollie, also known as sub-antics, and Peter, who goes by Peter Piper or Energy, the label is based in Bristol, a current hub of the genre.
Peter, a 34-year-old with blonde hair and blue eyes, hails from a small town called Horsham in Sussex but moved to Brighton (Hove). Ollie, whose exact age is not known, brings his video animating skills to the table, having joined Peter after the latter started his own label following a departure from a previous one.
Overview Music's sound has evolved over the years, now including more upfront tracks and even venturing into the 140 realm. The label prides itself on not chasing trends and instead doing what comes naturally. This approach has allowed them to maintain a unique and authentic sound.

Peter and Ollie take a hands-off approach to A&R, allowing artists to create music in their own environment. Their focus is on refinement rather than technical input. In celebration of their 100th release, Overview Music is set to drop a two-part remix compilation called 'Overview100'. The compilation promises to showcase the label's diverse roster and the evolution of its sound over the years.
With shows planned in various cities across the UK, Europe, and even in Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, and a label tour to New Zealand & Australia, Overview Music is set to bring its unique sound to audiences worldwide.
