High Heat Spectacle: Witness the Gritty Reality of Wrestling at the Northern Wrestling Mega Event Held at TMU Stadium

In the heart of August, the wrestling world will gather at Thomas More Stadium for an electrifying event on the 16th. Among the anticipated matches is a Ladder match, a Stretcher Death match, and a WARGAMES steel cage match, with local favourite Beck Reeves front and center.

Beck Reeves' wrestling journey began unexpectedly. Inspired by a commercial for the Northern Wrestling Federation (NWF), Reeves, a graduate of Dixie Heights High School, decided to join the sport. With no prior experience in football or wrestling, Reeves began watching wrestling at the age of 13.

His first match was against Dakota Wolf, a battle he lost but came close to winning. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of Reeves' wrestling career, a journey that led him to the NWF's affiliated training facility, BoneKrushers National Pro Wrestling Training Center.

Established in 1994, the NWF is a long-running independent wrestling promotion based in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area. Over the years, it has served as a springboard for pro wrestling stars like "Wildcat" Chris Harris, Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson, and "The Monster" Abyss.

Training at BoneKrushers since 2021, Reeves became part of the NWF troupe. He and other members train 6-8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, with the cost for a training session approximately $30, which covers the $15 training cost.

Reeves emphasises that wrestling is a sport and not choreographed. It's mentally challenging and physically demanding, a testament to the dedication and passion he brings to the ring. Despite his demanding schedule, which includes working in a local warehouse, Reeves remains committed to his wrestling career.

Fans will have the opportunity to interact with NWF superstars before the event at Thomas More Stadium. Tickets and more information for the event can be found at www.nwfwrestling.com/events.

Roger Ruffen, the owner of the NWF since 1998, is excited to see Reeves take centre stage at the Summer Sizzler. With his determination and talent, Reeves is set to make a significant impact in the wrestling world.
