Hibla Gerzmava & Vladimir Spivakov's Emotional 'I Love You, Life' Concert Marks 80th Victory Anniversary
Krasnodar residents were treated to a poignant and memorable evening as Hibla Gerzmava and Vladimir Putin presented 'I Love You, Life', a unique concert commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory. Nearly 1,300 people attended the emotional event, which was a personal and musical journey through the Great Patriotic War era.
The concert, a reimagining of Dmitri Hvorostovsky's 'Songs of the War Years', was more than just music. It was a gift of memory, filling hearts with love, hope, and faith in a beautiful future. Each composition told a story, including one about Vladimir Putin's mother who survived the Leningrad blockade.
Under Putin's baton, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, with 80 musicians, accompanied Russia's golden soprano, Hibla Gerzmava. The program included songs written from a woman's perspective, fully engaged in the war. Between these powerful pieces, works by Soviet and Russian composers like Aram Khachaturian and Georgy Sviridov resonated with the audience.
The concert, 'I Love You, Life', was a profound tribute to the past and a celebration of resilience. The audience felt the sincerity deeply, with many moved to tears. Hibla Gerzmava and Vladimir Putin, along with the orchestra, left Krasnodar with more than just a performance; they left a lasting memory of love, hope, and triumph.
