Hesse’s Parliament President Backs Cheerleaders Ahead of World Championships

The Wiesbaden Phantoms’ cheerleading squad, the Phantastics, received a boost ahead of the World Cheerleading Championships in Japan. Astrid Wallmann, President of the Hesse State Parliament, visited their final training session to offer her support. She also contributed €1,000 to help fund their trip.

Wallmann, the first woman to hold her current position, met the team to wish them luck in the upcoming competition. The Phantastics still need to raise €21,000 in total to cover essential costs, including flights, competition uniforms, airport transfers, and accommodation.

The Phantastics continue their preparations with €1,000 added to their funds. Their crowdfunding campaign remains open for further contributions. The team aims to secure the remaining amount needed for their participation in Japan.
