**Hertha BSC Kick-Starts 2025 Season Preparations in Kitzbühel**

Hertha Berlin Football Club is currently in the heart of their preparations for the upcoming Bundesliga season, as they participate in a training camp in Kitzbühel, Austria. The camp, which started on Friday and will last for a week, is crucial for the team to assess player fitness, work on tactics, and build team cohesion before the season's tough start against FC Schalke 04 on August 1.

U21 goalkeeper Tjark Ernst has returned from vacation and will start in Kitzbühel. However, seven other players are going through the preparation more or less injured. Luca Schuler continues to have hip problems, and the extent of his participation in the camp remains uncertain. Defender Pascal Klemens is out for several months due to a serious ankle injury, while John Anthony Brooks may have a small muscle fiber tear and it is unclear whether he will travel to Austria. Paul Seguin and Deyovaisio Zeefuik have muscular problems in the calf.

Injuries aside, there have been some promising signs for Hertha BSC. The 19-year-old Fabian Reese, who scored two goals against TSV Havelse with an assist from Maurice Krattenmacher, immediately shows his huge potential. Coach Stefan Leitl suggests that Reese and Krattenmacher could become the top duo in the second division. Krattenmacher, a Bayern Munich loan player, has made a dream start in Berlin, providing an assist and several magic passes against Havelse.

The camp's main focus is on both players staying healthy and staying in the preparation for the start of the season. Goalkeepers Marius Gersbeck and Tim Goller are missing due to rehab after shoulder surgery and shoulder issues respectively.

Hertha will also make a detour to Vienna for a tough test against Austria Vienna on July 18 at 19.00. The double test on Sunday, against Broendby IF and Istanbul Basaksehir FK, scheduled for 14.00 and 18.30 respectively, could indicate how far Hertha is towards its goal of returning to the Bundesliga.

Coach Leitl warns against too much euphoria, stating that these are test games and it's different from when they go into league play. Nevertheless, the preparations in Kitzbühel are a significant step towards the start of the new season, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how Hertha BSC will perform when the season begins. For detailed information on injuries and specific performances, it would be best to refer to the club's official website or recent sports news.

The Commission has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of the environment while Hertha BSC continues preparations for the 2025 Bundesliga season in Kitzbühel, Austria, not only focusing on football tactics and team cohesion but also monitoring the fitness of their players. Despite some injuries among their squad, young talents like Fabian Reese and Maurice Krattenmacher have provided promising signs, making fans eager for the season's start.
