Most of his playing time, though, was spent with Hertha's U23/Regionalliga team, where he played 43 matches, scored nine goals, and provided four assists.
Interestingly, Wollschläger tasted professional football under none other than Coach Felix Magath in 2022 with two brief stints in the Bundesliga. In the 2024/25 season, he mostly played for Hertha’s second team but managed a spot in the 2. Bundesliga against Schalke!
Despite the limited top-flight experience, Wollschläger has a solid track record in the Regionalliga and youth development.
