Struggling hertha
Another draw, another disappointment
Hertha BSC once again failed to secure a win, drawing 2-2 with Hannover in the 2nd division. The Berliners, now ensnared in a trio of draws, can't ascend above mid-table. The frustration is palpable!

Bitter pills to swallow: Going into halftime with a 2-0 lead, the Berliners unexpectedly found themselves narrowly escaping with a point.
The disappointment of missing out on a three-point lead was profound. Captain Toni Leistner (33) was unsparing: "It's disappointing. We gave away another 2-0 lead, this time due to individual errors. We seem to be scoring two-goal leads only to give them away."
First-half hero Florian Niederlechner (33) reflected: "In the end, we're lucky we didn't concede the 2-3. Hanover didn't have a chance in the first half."
Goals for Hertha BSC
Niederlechner notched his second goal of the season, and talented Pascal Klemens (18) followed up with his professional debut goal, assisted by Fabian Reese (25).
The second half sees defensive lapses
But in the second half, Hertha BSC faltered. Offenses began to sprout from the unlikeliest of places. Before conceding the decisive goal, Hannover managed to allow Neumann to power through the midfield unchecked and set up Nielsen.
Coach Pal Dardai (47): "We handed it to them. Our opponents were indecisive. We ended up giving away a goal for seemingly no reason." And Leistner made it clear: "The 1-2 hurts the most."
The crowd began to stir - and Hertha BSC started to doze. Shortly after a Halstenberg pass, ex-Union player Voglsammer was able to squeeze in the equalizer, past goalkeeper Marc Kempf (28) and Deyovaisio Zeefuik (25).
An equalizer akin to amateur hour.
Dardai's patience is no longer - "The equalizer is amateurish. It's downright stupid. I could've defended better with double my weight. That's experience. We cannot afford that."
Hertha BSC in desperate need of a win
The team, yet to snatch a victory in their last 4 outings, is sliding further away from their lofty ambitions - securing a place in the Bundesliga before the Winter break.

The Berliners have also conceded a significant portion of their goals after the halftime break.
