Hertha emerges victorious in the second test; Brooks suffers another injury setback

In a dominant display at the Sportforum Hohenschönhausen, Hertha BSC, currently on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich for attacking midfielder Maurice Krattenmacher, claimed a convincing 6-0 victory over BFC Dynamo in their second test match.

The young 19-year-old, who previously showcased his attacking prowess with 3 goals and 8 assists in 33 games for SSV Ulm in the second division last season, made an immediate impact at his new club. Krattenmacher provided an assist for the opening goal, scored by Marten Winkler in the 38th minute, and later added a goal of his own in the 74th minute, setting up Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson for the fourth goal just seven minutes later.

The first half of the match saw some setbacks for both teams. Hertha's John Anthony Brooks had to leave the field after 15 minutes due to an unknown injury, while BFC Dynamo's Max Ramoth scored an own goal in the 83rd minute following a hit by Kevin Sessa.

Stefan Leitl's Hertha BSC team struggled in the first half, but they played more effectively after the break. Winkler scored his second goal in the 47th minute, making it 2:0 for Hertha BSC, before Thorsteinsson and Krattenmacher extended the lead.

Pascal Klemens, who sustained an ankle injury during the warm-up, was kept out of the match as a precaution. Brooks had recently returned to play after an ankle injury he sustained in Ludwigsfelde.

With this impressive victory, Hertha BSC will prepare for their next test match against TSV Havelse at the Amateur stadium on Tuesday. Bayern Munich will continue to monitor Krattenmacher’s development closely, with plans to potentially reassess his future next summer.

In the second half of the match, Krattenmacher, the attacking midfielder on loan from Bayern Munich, assisted another goal for Hertha BSC, this time for Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson in the 81st minute, demonstrating his impact on the football field. Later in the game, Krattenmacher scored a goal of his own, emphasizing his contribution to the sports domain, specifically football.
