Hertha BSC Gears Up for Two Test Matches in Spain Prep
Kicking off their New Year with a bang, second-division soccer team Hertha BSC is set to play two friendly matches during their training camp in sunny Spain. Swing by Alicante on January 10 (2 PM CET) to witness BSC Berlin take on Belgian first-division powerhouse KV Mechelen, then, three days later, catch them tackle top Scottish club Glasgow Rangers at another undisclosed location, also at 2 PM CET.
The German club will train from January 7 to 14 in Spain, priming themselves for the second half of the season, which kicks off on January 21 against Fortuna Düsseldorf. Sporting director Benjamin Weber shared, "The excellent training facilities and conditions in Spain will help our team immensely in focusing on the crucial challenges of the second half of the season."
Hertha BSC's pre-season training will commence on January 3, as they welcome FC Erzgebirge Aue to the Olympiapark for a cozy friendly match on January 6.
