Million Dispute with Former CEO Bobic: Hertha Appeals - Hertha BSC ordered to pay €3.35M to ex-CEO Fredi Bobic after court ruling

Hertha BSC faces a significant payout after a court ruled the club must pay its former CEO, Fredi Bobic, €3.35 million gross, plus interest. This comes after a long-standing dispute between the two parties, which has now reached the appeal stage. The dispute began over two and a half years ago, with Bobic filing two separate lawsuits following his ordinary and extraordinary termination. The regional court recently upheld Bobic's claim against the extraordinary dismissal, leading Hertha BSC to file an appeal with the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court will examine if the provisional judgment was based on a legal violation or if the facts warrant a different decision. However, it previously rejected Hertha BSC's appeal against the extraordinary dismissal ruling. Despite this setback, Hertha BSC is responsible for covering the legal costs in the separate case and may still lodge a non-admission complaint with the Federal Court of Justice to challenge the ruling. The ongoing legal battle between Hertha BSC and Fredi Bobic continues, with the club now facing a substantial payout. The Supreme Court's decision on the appeal will determine the next step in this long-standing dispute.
