Hermann Historica unveils rare guns and militaria at 2026 European fairs

Hermann Historica, a specialist in historical arms and militaria, will take part in several major collectors' fairs across Europe in 2026. The company may host its next series of auctions in May, offering a wide range of items from antique firearms to military decorations.

The auction house will set up its own booth at multiple events throughout the year. These include the International Arms Collectors' Fair in Greding, Germany, on 20–21 March and again on 6–7 November. Shortly after, representatives will attend the 50th International Arms Collectors' Fair in Lucerne, Switzerland, from 27–29 March.

Further appearances are scheduled for the International Collectors' Fair in Gunzenhausen, Germany, on 9–11 April, followed by Militaria alla Torre in Bologna, Italy, on 11–12 April and 26–27 September. Ciney Militaria in Belgium will host the company on 26 April and 25 October, while Militalia in Novegro, Italy, will see them on 9–10 May and 30 October–1 November. Additional stops include Historia in Munsingen, Germany (3–5 September), the OVMS Max Show in York, USA (17–20 September), and the Collectors' Exhibition in Breitenfurt, Austria (11 October).

The next auctions will run from 18 to 22 May 2026. Each day will focus on a different category: Arms & Armour and Antique Firearms on 18 May, Art Objects on 19 May, Modern and Service Firearms on 20 May, Militaria and decorations up to 1918 on 21 May, and Militaria from 1919 onwards on 22 May. Detailed information on the lots will be published on the company's website a few weeks before the sales begin.

Hermann Historica's participation in these events provides collectors with opportunities to view and bid on rare items. The May auctions will cover a broad range of historical artefacts, with full catalogues available online in advance. Further details on the selling process and upcoming lots can be found on the company's official website.
