Somewhere in East Frisia, there's a mischievous fowl causing a stir, and it goes by the name of Hermann. This irrepressible rooster has taken up residence at the Brinkum Rest Area, nestled in the district of Leer, and it's been a headache for the local police. Repeated calls poured in, expressing concern for the rooster's welfare, shared Police Chief Commissioner Ihno Engberts.
Never one to be reined in, Hermann seems to find harmony in his unusual abode, yet proves elusive whenever attempts are made to capture him. Miraculously, he's managed to steer clear of any hair-raising encounters with traffic thus far. "He usually hides in his favorite bush and scoots away when someone gets too close," Engberts explains.

Initially stumped by the owners' identity, the police are on the hunt for clues and extend a warm invitation for any leads. They encourage visitors to the rest stop to keep an eye out for the evasive Hermann.
