He insisted on continuous development, stating, "You will keep getting better. We keep working on it, we keep improving because if we keep doing that, we can dominate Test cricket for a very long period."
After the series, Gambhir gave his players a couple of days off to rest and rejuvenate. He congratulated them for their outstanding performance in the series and deserved break.
