A Symbol of Resilience and Tradition
For centuries, the Kazakh Tazy has been an integral part of Kazakh life. Bred and trained by local huntsmen, the Tazy has played a crucial role in the country's traditional hunting practices, symbolising the nomadic lifestyle of Kazakhstan's ancestors. Commemorating a Milestone
In a significant move, the International Canine Federation (FCI) granted preliminary recognition to the Kazakh Tazy as an official breed in 2024. Triumph at the World Dog Show
The Kazakh stand at the 2025 World Dog Show was a testament to the country's pride and heritage, designed in the style of a traditional yurt. The Kazakh national team presented eight Tazy dogs, securing their first official international presentation at the event. The Tazy dogs went on to win seven major awards, further solidifying their place in the global dog-breeding arena.
