Hello, Dolly! Kicks Off Sheridan Theater Season with Laughter, Romance, and Music
Get ready for a night of laughter, romance, and unforgettable music as Hello, Dolly! takes the stage at Sheridan's WYO Theater. This local production, directed by Marva Craft, brings an all-local cast of 23 performers and a live band of local musicians. The musical, an adaptation of Thornton Wilder's play The Matchmaker, promises an evening filled with humor, dance, and memorable songs.
The show, which premieres on Saturday, Oct. 18, follows the romantic and comic exploits of Dolly Gallagher Levi, played by local favorite, Dolly Parton. The WYO Theater Executive Director, Erin Butler, describes Hello, Dolly! as a Broadway classic that leaves audiences elevated, glowing, and laughing.
Premiere Night tickets are priced at $80 per person, offering a special experience with passed hors d'oeuvres and specialty cocktails at a cash bar. Doors open at 6 p.m., allowing time for attendees to arrive in costume or attire that inspires them, setting the tone for a lively evening.
Following the premiere, Hello, Dolly! will have encore performances on Oct. 19, 26, and Oct. 23-25. Tickets for these shows are $29 for adults, $27 for seniors, and $23 for students. Fans can also tune in to the Public Pulse platform on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 9 a.m. to hear from Floyd Whiting and the cast and crew of Hello, Dolly!
